A recent real estate deal in Mumbai has drawn attention, involving actor Akshay Kumar and commercial pilot Anny Divya.
A duplex apartment in Andheri (West) has been leased for Rs 1.44 lakh per month, according to property registration data reviewed by CRE Matrix.
The home is located in Sky Pan, part of the Oberoi Complex on New Link Road, and spans the 11th and 12th floors, with an attached terrace adding to the space.
The lease was officially registered on April 7, 2026, and the arrangement has been in effect since March 1.
What makes the agreement a little unusual is how straightforward it is for a premium Mumbai property. There is no rent escalation clause and, surprisingly, no security deposit either—both of which are usually standard in high-end rentals.
Away from the property news, Anny Divya’s journey continues to stand out. Originally from Vijayawada, she made history in aviation by becoming one of the youngest commanders to fly a Boeing 777. She started training at just 17 and joined Air India at 19, steadily building a career that many in the field admire.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar has been busy on the work front, promoting his upcoming horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla.
At a recent promotional event in Noida, he was taken aback by the crowd turnout and said, “Mujhe kareeban 36 saal ho gaye hain iss industry ke andar, lekin ek mall ke andar maine kabhi itne saare log nahi dekhe.”
The buzz around Bhooth Bangla has been steadily building since its trailer dropped, mixing spooky elements with comedy in a way that has clearly struck curiosity among audiences.
Directed in the signature style associated with Priyadarshan, the film aims to balance light humour with eerie moments.
