Casual dining chain Barbeque Nation has strengthened its footprint in the Chandigarh Tri-City with the launch of a new outlet at CP67 Mall. The opening marks the brand’s third restaurant in Mohali and fourth across the Tri-City region, underlining its continued expansion in Punjab.
The inauguration was led by more than 20 children from the evening school supported by Aashray Foundation, under the guidance of Shane Bakshi, followed by a lunch hosted by the restaurant reflecting a community-led start to the new outlet.
Positioned within CP67 Mall, the restaurant brings the brand’s signature live-on-the-table grill experience along with its extensive buffet offering. The outlet has been designed as a contemporary, family-friendly space suited for celebrations, group dining and social occasions.
Ankit Purohit, Assistant Regional Manager (Operations), North, said the launch highlights the region’s strong response to the brand and reinforces its growth strategy in high-potential markets. He noted that the Mohali outlet will enable deeper consumer engagement while continuing to deliver the brand’s established hospitality and flavours.
Umang Jindal, CEO, Homeland Group, said the addition enhances the mall’s curated food and beverage mix and aligns with its vision of creating an integrated lifestyle and entertainment destination. He added that the brand’s interactive dining format strengthens CP67’s overall consumer offering.
The unlimited buffet features a diverse range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian selections, including char-grilled sweet and spicy pineapple, Lebanese mushrooms, cheesy broccoli, masaledar chicken tangdi, coastal grilled fish and chilli garlic grilled prawns, prepared using the brand’s signature marinades and grilling techniques.
With this opening, the company has further consolidated its presence across Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula, taking its tally to four outlets in the Tri-City and eight across Punjab, signalling steady regional growth.
