Noida, 22 April 2026: Marking World Earth Day, Prateek Group joined hands with Sheroes Café to host a thoughtfully designed plantation and community engagement initiative titled “Planting for Healing.” The initiative focused on creating a lasting impact by combining environmental responsibility with meaningful human connection.
Hosted at Sheroes Hangout Café in Noida, the activity brought together members of Prateek Group and acid attack survivors associated with the café in a shared, participative experience. Moving away from conventional plantation drives, the initiative introduced large, mobile planters placed within active spaces of Sheroes cafés and offices, ensuring ongoing care, visibility, and continuity beyond a single day.
At its core, the initiative emphasised inclusion. Survivors were actively involved in the plantation process and engaged with participants, creating an environment of dignity, participation, and shared experience. This approach subtly shifted the narrative from a one-time CSR activity to a more thoughtful and inclusive engagement.
Prateek Tiwari, Managing Director, Prateek Group, said, “For us, Earth Day is not about a one-day activity; it’s about how meaningfully we engage with both the environment and the communities around us. ‘Planting for Healing’ was designed to be simple, yet intentional. Partnering with Sheroes Café brought in a powerful human dimension of resilience and inclusion, reinforcing that responsibility is best expressed through shared action.”
The initiative reflects Prateek Group’s approach to CSR, focused on continuity, inclusivity, and creating experiences that remain visible and relevant over time.
