Greater Noida, Gaurs International School, a model of inclusive and progressive education in Greater Noida (West), hosted its annual event ‘SHAKTI 7.0 – Mai Shakti Hun, Kar Sakti Hun!’ Graced by Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani, former Union Cabinet Minister for Women & Child Development and Education (HRD), as the Chief Guest, the event honoured the indomitable spirit of women and girls.
Held at the school auditorium, the celebration curated powerful performances centred around themes of resilience, self-reliance, and gender equality. While embracing modern ideals of empowerment and progress through these captivating songs, dance and drama, the students also paid tribute to India’s rich cultural legacy. An exhibition held on the occasion highlighted students’ grasp of coding skills and their knowledge of the Vedic traditions. School’s top academic performers from both regular and ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ programmes were also felicitated.
